Dr. Sophia Capo is a Residency-Trained Optometrist. This means that she completed an additional year of specialized training focusing on vision rehabilitation after a concussion. Vision rehabilitation helps improve the way the brain and the eyes work together as a team. It targets to relieve visual symptoms that resulted from the concussion.
Dr. Capo completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo and then completed her Residency at the Michigan College of Optometry. Her dedication to evidence-based rehabilitative Optometry led her to complete a Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Capo was born and raised in Vaughan, Ontario but she currently loves living in Kelowna. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her exploring the outdoors.
